Cass County Weekly Arrest Reports
Cass County's multi-day source is the official Weekly Crime Blotter. Years run from 2023 through 2026. Under each year sit PDFs, one per calendar week. Week 36 spans August 31 to September 6, 2026. That report alone ran 16 pages. Some items are arrests. Others record warrant service, transfers from other agencies, or transport to the Cass County Jail with bond and court dates. Read it as an incident archive, not a booking ledger.
The official archive page shows its year-and-week navigation.

The blotter page offers week links rather than any name-search box, so pick the week that covers the incident.
Navigate Cass County Blotter Weeks
Start from the event date. Upload dates mean nothing here, since the archive is document-first and offers no person-name search.
- Open the sheriff’s weekly blotter page and choose the correct year.
- Select the calendar-week range containing the reported event.
- Search the PDF for a surname, city, street, agency, or event phrase, then read the full narrative.
- Distinguish an arrest or warrant service from a call, report, prisoner transport, or assist.
- Compare the entry with Cass County Jail custody information and Missouri Case.net when a court case follows.
Need something from today? The 24 Hour Arrests guide points to a direct custody check instead of waiting on a weekly PDF.
Fields in Cass County Blotter Entries
Fields vary because each narrative describes a reported event, not a standardized booking row.
| Field | How to read it |
|---|---|
| Date and time | When the reported activity occurred, not necessarily the booking time. |
| Location | The call, contact, arrest, or transport location. |
| Event description | A label for the sheriff report, which may not involve an arrest. |
| Narrative | May state warrant service, agency transfer, custody, charge, bond, or court date. |
| Agency | Can identify city police or another authority involved. |
| Photo | No booking-photo gallery is part of the reviewed weekly PDF format. |
| Disposition | Not supplied; follow the official court docket. |
The sheriff's disclaimer narrows the scope. The blotter covers reports the office actually took, not every dispatched call, accuracy is not warranted, and protected or juvenile matters may be redacted.
Weekend Dates Inside Weekly PDFs
Weekend dates appear whenever reportable incidents land on them. That proves no weekend surge. The county posts no arrest count by day, so no such claim holds up. The safer point is narrow. A full week catches Saturday and Sunday events. It also catches reports a same-day channel would miss. No upload time or holiday schedule is posted. When an event is missing, the report may be unfinished, another agency may hold it, or law may require redaction. The county-wide lookup guide helps match the arresting agency to its custody channel.
Cass County Arrest Archives Since 2023
The weekly archive online reaches back to at least 2023. Web history is not storage law. Missouri's sheriff retention schedule keeps arrest records for at least five years. That covers logs, arrest files, registers, and booking sheets. The schedule binds the agency, not the website. It does not obligate anyone to leave PDFs online forever.
For an older or missing event, ask the Cass County Sheriff's Custodian of Records. Name the person, the date range, and the location. Also give the arresting agency, and the week if known. The custodian acts on written requests by the end of the third business day. Production can take longer for reasonable cause. Some records stay closed or redacted. State law protects juveniles, victims, active investigations, and safety-sensitive facts.
Older coverage has other routes. The Cass County Library newspaper list leads to historical papers. The State Historical Society directory does too. Neither is an official booking archive. The agency and the court still hold the legal record.
Raymore and Sheriff Publication Rhythms
Cass County has two weekly rhythms. The sheriff publishes calendar-week incident PDFs, while Raymore Police posts its own blotter every Monday. Belton and Harrisonville are different. Neither city posts a comparable arrest-log page. Their police records channels and the county blotter serve better. A Raymore arrest may hit the city report first. Later comes a county-jail transfer, and still later a court date. Those are three separate records. A police narrative, custody status, and court result should never merge into one claim.
Official Records Before News Coverage
News adds color. It is no substitute for the sheriff's report. The 921 News Cass County story covered a July 2026 pursuit and arrest involving the Highway Patrol and the sheriff, but it is event-driven reporting, not a standing booking feed.

The page shows narrative news coverage. Always check it against official records. An unofficial booking site also carries a Cass County page. It may copy, delay, or omit records. It can also keep a name after an official source changes. The RecentlyBooked Cass County page is secondary and is not maintained by the sheriff.

Treat such a listing only as a lead toward the official custody record.
From Blotter Event to Court Record
Order matters when tracing a record. A weekly entry might list a warrant contact. It might show an arrest by the Criminal Apprehension Unit instead. Other events come from Blue Springs Police, Garden City, or Peculiar, sometimes with transport noted. Each narrative captures only what the Sheriff's Office reported at that stage. Later filings and final results appear elsewhere.
Next, compare the agency name with the transport destination. Custody at Cass County Jail shows where someone was held at the time. That can shift after bond, release, or a transfer. Missouri Case.net carries the procedural court record from there. Formal charges sometimes differ from PDF shorthand. Court dates also move, so check again before relying on one.
Gaps deserve the same care. Some dispatched calls never generate a sheriff report, and city police may hold the only originating report. Juvenile details and other protected material may be redacted, so a name missing from one weekly document proves nothing about whether an arrest occurred.
Request the Underlying Cass County Report
Go straight to the Sheriff's Custodian of Records when a short narrative falls short. The official form offers Incident Report, Arrest Report, Log, and Other. Name the person. Add the date, the location, the originating agency, and the PDF week or report number. Ask for the specific arrest report or booking sheet. That keeps the request tight.
Major Kevin Tieman is custodian. Email goes to diane.smock@cassmosheriff.org. Mail works too: 2501 West Mechanic, Suite 100, Harrisonville, Missouri 64701. The office promises action by the end of the third business day. If production needs longer for reasonable cause, it sends an explanation and the earliest available date.
Fees are posted. An arrest report costs $5. Extra pages run $0.10 each, so request an estimate first. A written denial must cite its legal basis, though release rules still bar some details, including juvenile references, protected identities, and active investigative facts.
Arrest Entries Are Not Convictions
Details can shift after an arrest. Charges get filed, dropped, or amended as a case moves through court. A warrant narrative is a starting point, not the end. For current status, confirm the arrest report with the originating agency. Follow the filings on Missouri Case.net.
