Cass County Recent Arrest Sources
Cass County spreads arrest information across several public channels rather than one complete recent-booking feed. The Cass County Sheriff's Office site is the authoritative starting point for county jail navigation. Its web paths have been in transition. The old in-custody table carried a warning. It said the table could not update in real time. A newer sheriff link returns an error. The linked jail-management portal shows no readable roster. A blank screen or a missing name is not proof that nobody was arrested. The name can still sit in a blotter or city record.
The two windows serve different needs. The 24 Hour Arrests page explains the same-day check where no official 24-hour feed exists. The Arrest Log page explains the calendar-week PDFs. Those PDFs mix arrest events with warrant service, transports, calls, and other reports.
| Public view | Time or custody slice | What it can establish |
|---|---|---|
| Current jail portal | Potential current custody | Use the live interface if available, then confirm uncertain results. |
| 24-hour check | Just-booked or same-day | No separate official daily feed was verified; use the fallback chain. |
| Weekly Crime Blotter | Calendar-week incidents | Selected sheriff reports, not every booking or a live roster. |
| Case.net | Filed case and disposition | The legal process after booking when a case is available. |
Read each row carefully. A roster entry or booking photograph marks a custody event, and the court docket carries the case that follows.
Why Cass Arrest Results Lag
Confidence in the official roster trail comes in levels. The sheriff home page remains the authoritative navigation source. Its “In Custody Inmates” destination returns a 404. The separate Zuercher jail-management portal is linked as the current system, though its public fields, update pace, and photo behavior are unlisted. The older roster stayed viewable with a software-transition warning and a last-update date of December 16, 2024. An HTML instruction on that page calls for a five-minute refresh. Refreshing cannot make stale data current. No posting deadline or weekend schedule exists. A person may be held first by a city agency. Transfers between facilities happen too. Check the live portal, note the time of the search, and call the sheriff when custody status matters now. The official sheriff site preserves the agency navigation used to reach jail, records, blotter, and tip resources.

Even a dead jail link leaves the sheriff navigation as the correct launch point.
Search the Cass County Jail Roster
The old official table lists people currently held by the Cass County Sheriff's Office. It is not an everyone-arrested-this-week list. One person can carry more than one charge row. Treat those rows as one booking until another record says otherwise. Use only the fields on the live screen.
| Old roster field | How to read it |
|---|---|
| Name and age | Published identity values; compare spelling with court records. |
| Charge | The intake charge, not a conviction. |
| Bond amount and type | Terms that can change after a court order or release. |
| Court date | A scheduled appearance, not a judgment. |
| Arrest date and jurisdiction | Timing and the city, county, or outside authority. |
| Photo and booking number | Neither appeared visibly on the reviewed old roster. |
Use this verification sequence:
- Open the jail link from the sheriff’s current home page, not a saved roster address.
- Search with the fields the live portal provides. Compare date, charge, bond, jurisdiction, and court data.
- If it fails, call 816-380-5200 or send a focused records request. Contact the arresting city when city custody may apply.
- Use Case.net for filed charges and the outcome. A released person can leave a custody view while the agency record remains.
The older official in-custody table is shown only to document the transition.

Its dated content and missing photo column rule it out as a same-day arrest feed. How long does an entry stay online? Cass County publishes no fixed web-persistence period. Release, transfer, or a portal change can remove an entry, while an incident PDF or private copy can last longer.
Cass County Arrests by City
City police records and county custody records are separate. Population rank says nothing about arrest volume, so start with the arresting agency and follow any transport to Cass County Jail.
- Belton Recent Arrests: Belton Police has its own records channel, and city-jail or county-jail paths can differ.
- Raymore Recent Arrests: Raymore publishes a Monday blotter covering Sunday through Saturday; it is not a photo roster.
- Harrisonville Recent Arrests: Harrisonville Police records differ from records kept by the sheriff and county jail.
One arrest can leave a trail of records. A city report, county custody entry, sheriff narrative, and court docket may carry different dates and labels without contradicting each other.
Cass County Arrest Record Fields
A booking is the administrative step after an arrest. Cass County's old roster supplies name, age, arrest date, charge, bond amount and type, court date, and jurisdiction. It lists no booking number. No photograph appears. Holding history and disposition are absent too. A blotter narrative differs, since it describes an incident rather than a booking sheet.
- Booking number
- A unique agency identifier. Request it; do not infer it.
- Bond
- The release condition set by lawful authority. It may change.
- Jurisdiction
- The city, county, court, or outside authority tied to the matter.
- Disposition
- The court’s later result, such as dismissal, plea, acquittal, or judgment.
- Expungement
- A court process that can close qualifying records under Missouri law.
Arrest and booking dates are not always the same day. An intake charge may not match the charge a prosecutor files. Bond can change. A court date proves no outcome. A fuller record means asking for the arrest report, booking sheet, booking number, photo, bond record, and releasable custody record.
Cass County Mugshots and Arrest Photos
The sheriff roster shows no photo field. Missouri law sends qualifying arrest information, including a photograph when one is collected, to the Highway Patrol central repository under RSMo §43.503. That repository duty creates no public web gallery. The practical official route is a narrow request asking whether a booking photograph exists locally and is releasable. The Missouri Department of Corrections public offender search covers active state offenders, including some people on probation or parole. It is not a recent Cass County booking source. Its landing page lists no public photo field. LENS images stay limited to law enforcement. A private website's image must never be relabeled as a sheriff photo.
A mugshot is simply the photo snapped when a person is booked into jail after an arrest. Every Cass County arrest photo comes from that booking step, not from any court result.
Request Cass County Arrest Records
Major Kevin Tieman holds the sheriff's Custodian of Records post. Written requests go to Attention: Custodian of Records, C/O Major K. Tieman, 2501 West Mechanic, Suite 100, Harrisonville, MO 64701. Email diane.smock@cassmosheriff.org works as well. The request form includes arrest report and log boxes. An "Other" line covers a booking sheet or photograph.
- Identify the person, arrest date, arresting agency, and charge if known.
- Ask for the precise arrest report, booking sheet and number, photo, bond record, or custody record needed.
- Request the legal basis for closed or redacted parts and a written estimate.
- Track the response. The custodian acts by the third business day, though production may take longer for stated reasonable cause.
The official fee schedule sets $5 for an arrest, incident, investigative, or accident report. Extra pages cost ten cents each. Audio or video runs $18. Fingerprints add $10. A booking photograph carries no listed price, so ask the custodian for an estimate. The form requires payment before reproduction. It sets a $5 minimum per document. The custodian page spells out the Chapter 610 process and its response rule.

Use this route whenever the roster falls short.
Missouri Arrest and Mugshot Law
Missouri §610.100 keeps incident and arrest reports open. Investigative files stay closed until the case goes inactive. If no charges arrive within 30 days of an arrest, the arrest report can close, aside from disposition details and statutory exceptions. Redaction can shield juveniles, victims, witnesses, officers, safety concerns, or an active investigation. A missing name proves nothing. Missouri §407.1150 bars publishers from soliciting or accepting money to remove or correct booking photos and related criminal-record information. A knowing and willful violation is a class D felony. A civil remedy exists as well. Keep proof of any demand and get legal advice. Never pay simply to win a correction, and the official statute text shows the full access and redaction rules.

The current Revisor text controls if an older agency summary differs.
Correcting Cass County Arrest Information
Correction, expungement, publisher action, and search refresh are four different steps. Start with an exact error report. Send it to the agency that created the record. Cass County promises no automatic photo takedown after a release, dismissal, or expungement. Expungement runs through Missouri statutes and the courts. Eligibility hinges on the offense, the outcome, waiting periods, later arrests, and other conditions.
No big site offers free Cass-specific removal. That covers RecentlyBooked, Mugshots.com, Arrests.org, Mugshots.zone, and BustedNewspaper. Save the page. Check it against agency and court records. Then use the publisher's public channel for a correction or policy request. No paid removal service earns a recommendation here.
Google's Refresh Outdated Content tool can refresh a stale search result. It works once a source page changes. It cannot delete the source. A court order will not reach every copied page. Keep the order and send it to each publisher holding an outdated copy.
How Long Arrest Records Remain
Missouri's sheriff retention schedule sets a five-year minimum for arrest records, logs, booking sheets, fingerprints, and related files. That schedule comes from the Secretary of State. Photos and biometrics normally land in the Highway Patrol repository, with local reference copies possible. Five years is a floor, not a promise. No photo is guaranteed to stay up that long. For older arrests, ask the sheriff or a city police custodian first, then check court records. State archives and newspaper microfilm add history. Neither is a name-searchable photo collection, and a private page can outlive the official source while missing a later dismissal or correction.
Where Cass County Arrests Appear
Start with official sources. Weekly PDFs give the strongest multi-day Cass County arrest record, the roster tracks current custody, and city records and court dockets cover other stages. Private indexes are leads, nothing more.
| Channel | Photo? | Status and use |
|---|---|---|
| Sheriff jail portal | Not verified | Official custody start; interface not confirmed. |
| Weekly Crime Blotter | No verified gallery | Official weekly incidents, including some arrests. |
| City police records | Request separately | Official originating report path. |
| Case.net | No booking-photo role | Official case and disposition path. |
| RecentlyBooked Cass | Some profiles | Unofficial; may be copied, incomplete, delayed, or stale. |
A RecentlyBooked Cass County capture documents the strongest verified private county page.

Every private source stays secondary. Confirm each name, charge, and outcome officially. Mugshots.com has surfaced Cass County material through its Missouri index, though a direct county path is spotty. Arrests.org shows no Cass landing page. Mugshots.zone lists other counties, and BustedNewspaper runs an older Drexel tag instead of a county feed. Local newspapers and 921 News offer story context, not a full booking ledger.
Cass County Arrest Warrants
No sheriff active-warrant search or most-wanted page exists. Weekly PDFs help instead. They log warrant service, arrest, bond, court dates, and transport as events. Old PDFs prove nothing about today. Absence proves nothing either. Case.net and the court clerk hold the case facts. Anyone who suspects a warrant in their name should call a lawyer or the court. Never pay a caller threatening arrest over missed jury duty; the Circuit Clerk says the court will not request payment by phone. Never approach a wanted person yourself; use the sheriff's official tip page or law enforcement, with no anonymity or reward promised.
After a Cass County Arrest
An arrest in Cass County is only the first chapter. Booking ends and the court file takes over. The Cass County criminal page connects you to Case.net. It lists 816-380-8227, option 6, along with cass.criminal@courts.mo.gov. Need copies? Email cass.copies@courts.mo.gov instead. Pick the 17th Judicial Circuit and Cass County, then search by litigant or case number.
Case.net follows a case from filing through sentencing. You can see arraignments, motions, pleas, trial dates, judgments, and final disposition. A roster entry is just shorthand. The formal charge filed in court may read differently. Arraignment is where it gets addressed directly. "Track this Case" sends email or text updates. Traffic cases run through a different clerk and a separate search path.
Bond can shift fast. The sheriff lists cash-only, 10% cash, surety, signature, and personal-surety options. A judge controls signature bonds, and jail staff cannot recommend a bondsman. There is no promised bond-out time. Someone can drop off the arrest roster while the case is still open in court.
Cass Arrest Custody Alerts
Custody alerts come through VINELink Check. It handles Missouri MOVANS notices for custody changes and court events. It tracks one person after a Cass County arrest. It does not replace a police report or a docket. Current DPS guidance keeps SMS text and email notices only. Phone and app notices ended May 5, 2026. Older official brochures still describe phone registration with a PIN.
The Cass County Missouri sheriff lists no booking app. Don't mistake another state's Cass County app, or a commercial product, for the local agency. DPS notes that MobilePatrol and Missouri Sheriff Connect have no MOVANS affiliation. Sheriff social posts are extra, not official, and carry no stated photo policy.
Cass Records Beyond County Custody
A Cass County arrest can lead to state time. It shows up in the Missouri Department of Corrections Offender Search. That tool covers offenders in custody or under supervision, including probation and parole. It skips anyone discharged, and some data stays hidden for safety or confidentiality reasons. A fresh Cass arrest may not appear there yet. A MODOC hit also does not mean a new local booking happened.
Federal custody works differently. The Bureau of Prisons locator reaches back to 1982. It offers no public mugshot gallery. ICE runs its own immigration locator. Cass County publishes no ICE contract or local detainer feed. A county roster row tells you nothing about federal status.
Check the jail portal first. Then comes the sheriff or city record, then Case.net. After that, use MOVANS alerts and MODOC for state supervision. Add the right federal locator only if that custody type fits.
